Be careful, do not use as a substitute for real medicine traditional or alternative.

The whole household has been sick this winter, with a couple of new strains of viruses that seem to reinfect and keep cycling through the family for months. My dnl has gotten into Doterra to help behavior issues with the boys and is a little too fanatic and certainly does not have the training to understand the medicinal properties and I doubt the woman she is in contact with does either. Understanding the use of herbs in any form in medicine takes a long and very detailed learning process and can be dangerous in the hands of those who do understand how they work or why. My youngest grandson would scream in pain in the night, had earaches horrible sore throat and cough. He also has asthma but it has not been an issue before. She relied on these products in a diffuser and applying oils. Finally, we had to take him to the ER with 103+ temp and very weak - he had pneumonia and was put on antibiotics, and he got better or at least out of critical condition very quickly, but the coughing persisted. She finally took him to the primary, and they spent hours evaluating him, his asthma was much worse, and he had to go on some really nasty drugs to get better, and he is still not in the clear. He also has a chronic genetic blood condition that complicates everything and the condition can be fatal - this probably made the swelling in his ears worse - and he now has *** in one eardrum and hearing loss because he was not treated properly soon enough. I am the one in the house that is anti-traditional medicine, and when I say it is time to go after nothing works, then it time to go, and she never resisted before until she got into doterra. She is buying tons of this stuff on the recommendations of this woman, and she is not paying the bills, hundreds of dollars every month, and we can't do this. We are living off of my SS check and I don't have enough to pay all the bills without being reimbursed. I have no money for food, I cannot resupply the herbs etc I need to manage my chronic conditions. On top of that I did try the deep blue because my son raved about it. I was in severe pain and it was taking the chiropractor time to correct what I had messed up and ignored for so long. I used it for a week, then a week later I have developed hives and now a rash on the same area. I did check the ingredients and didn't see any reason to be concerned, nothing with any history of allergic reaction. This is so bad I cannot get it under control and after a week it is getting worse, I can't even wear clothes they rub against my skin and with my history I don't have the options other people have to treat this, so going to the stupid primary would not be worth it, my education is more thorough than theirs, and they never learned to listen. I have real concerns about the misuse of these products especially in my own household and I don't like the influence it has had on my dnl, she is obsessed and has now decided to sell it using more money we don't have and making demands about making space for it of which there is none left. Just like any other herbal etc MM there are people involved that are thinking only about making money and not being responsible for the use of the products. I have 45 years of education, training and experience with all forms of medicine and I prefer natural methods, but I also know how much harm can be done when you do not know what you are doing to the full extent because natural does not mean safe, for example the most toxic quick acting poisons are all natural, anything that our bodies do not need to survive on a daily basis, can kill if taken or used improperly. Arrogance/ignorance kills just like in traditional medicine. Alternative medicine is the future, but we cannot make the same mistakes that modern medicine has made. You think you are so much better than them and above the same flaws, yet you commit them daily and are as great a threat to the health and safety of the public as they are.

My friend was told he would earn points for every order he placed. Since 2017 he has been on automatic .

He used points once and recently decided to stop. We called to spend his accrued points and he only had 40 WHAT wait, he was told he would be earning 30% because of the time he had been purchasing them. He works full time and has rental property making it difficult for him to call. They are not available on sundays.

I called and was told we could three way and give me permission to discuss on his behalf. He called them and he was sent 3 documents to sign fill out. And send.

Ridiculous to have to go through such lengths to end something that you’ve been involved with for three years. one woman I spoke with said they would discuss it and come to a solution however when he called they just sent more papers.

Facebook Group Admin spreads false health information to people. Harmful dissemination to human safety.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/donectar/ I have found lately that the Group Admin in this DO Terra Romanian secret group invites people to not engage with modern medicine at all, and she stops comments if someone interferes with a rational comment regarding medicine. I quote some translated aberant words & attach photos "possible diagnostics: HPV infection , a fictive virus ". Also she had stated in the past that, appendicitis & diabetes don't exist and all sorts of statements as she is a medicine GURU with Do Terra products in Romania. If this is the sort of information which is allowed to be shared on Do Terra's behalf, I am terribly sorry to state that herbalist practices and ayurvedic ancient knowledge has been brought to mockery by this company and its sellers.

Shipped and charged for previous months order!!

Be advised!!! Signed up for this as I use essential oils, liked the quality of duTerras. However it was not until the 11th hour that I came to realise their peculiar practice ie: your order becomes default and remains in your basket (a little like your favourites) and one must diarise a date every month to clear/change that basket otherwise its shipped and charged again and again!! which is exactly what has just happened to me which I am furious about as I did change the basket although it seems those changed did not save. How does this work if a person is unwell or dies?? This is a crazy practice and means no matter what I have to get to that basket. Is it legal to behave like this?? I go to customers every day, all have different websites never have I seen this behaviour, its like entrapped. duTerra are expensive lets be clear, so to just continue taking money regardless is outrageous. Its a shame they operate like this as I would of been a good and regular customer... as it stands I want nothing more to do with them. Kind regards Maxine

So sorry you've had a bad experience. The person who introduced you to the company should have explained you the ordering process.

I am a long time customer of doTerra, so I can help you understand how it works. You can do a one time order anytime you want, your cart will not be saved and your credit card will not be charged the next month. But there is an option to buy something monthly, that's where you set up a monthly template, that you can change up to the shipment date.

The second method gives you lots of perks, but it is totally optional and you don't have to sign up for it. I hope this helps and you love your oils.

Took care of me right away

I don't think that it is fair to only have negative stuff, which "pissed customer" infers, so I am going to talk about a positive experience I had with DoTERRA customer service. I was told by a makeup artist that I have oily skin and therefore have to have a skin care product made specifically for oily skin. I went ahead and tried the doTERRA HD Clear Foaming Face Wash. https://www.doterra.com/US/en/p/personal-care-hd-clear-foaming-face-wash The problem is I also have rosacia/sensitive skin, and this product (though natural) set my face on FIRE. It was very hot and red (though nothing crazy like peeling or blistering). It was just too much for my very sensitive skin. I contacted customer service shortly after my skin calmed down, and they were terrific! They asked me all of the details about how the product was used and what my reaction was. They documented my skin's reaction and watch for a pattern, should additional product problems be reported. They sent me a shipping label for a free return of the product, and refunded my credit card immediately upon the receipt of the product (5 days later). The customer service representative listened carefully, never interrupted, let me say what I needed and never rushed me. It was a really good experience overall.

Update: doTERRA SUCKS. I ended up having to quit, and therefore to forfeit all Wellness Advocate benefits, in order to move from the people - Dave Goldberg and Polina Marian - who ripped me off. doTERRA's administrative representatives are as sleazy as my upline...

I love Revive oils. It's amazing how many people are dropping Young Living and Doterra and going with them.

It's funny watching all ththe reps go on their Facebook posts and try to bash them. There is literally NO difference and they have all testing on their site, free shipping and free return shipping if you don't like it.

One of the best companies out there. Them and Plant Therapy are my two favorites now.

Most excellent customer service

no complaints. Every issue I had with them they were able to resolve. I had a leaking bottle and they replaced it free and I didn't have to send the leaking bottle in. I had incorrectly ordered items and spent upwards of 1,000 on a Standard Order thusly missing out on many LRP points I could have been accruing. They generously gave me 80 points for my trouble. I think if someone has a complaint, they need to go directly to customer service and not to a website and complain. Customer service is excellent and I know that when they were newer they had a few customer service reps who were new and they had to get a little more education. I think they are top shelf now!

Shocked So I had my loyalty set up to automatic because you need to have this set up in order to receive points with them as a advocate, no problem there. I get that. I've been a member for about 6 months now and this had happened before and they took care of it right away, maybe because it was for a small amount. So the payment went through on 8/24. But I called the day after on 8/25 to have them refund it and they informed that that it would take 3-5 business days. I called the next week on 8/28 to check on the status and make sure everything was okay. They ensured me that everything was okay and that they released the charges and to call my bank, which I did and they didn't see anything. I was understanding so I waited until about 2 weeks and called them and they transferred me to a specialist. They started emailing me requesting for a bank statement on the charges. They now just informed me that they need to see a statement from 8/25-9/10. And after I send the statement on the 10th it could take up to 1o business days for me to see the refund which they have been telling me since the beginning. Todays date is 9/4. I find this insane because it is almost a $300 charge, I never received the product and called the day after to refund. Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

DROWSY FEELING AFTER I TAKE MY DOSAGE

HI, I have been using the Doterra Vitality Supplement pack now for a total of 4 months. I have really noticed a difference in my hair and nails and energy too. But for the last month now, my nails and hair still look good, but I'm very tired and drowsy after my lunch dosage and I haven't tried anything new from when I first started taking them. I just don't seem to have the energy that when I first started taking them. I really enjoy taking them, but I would like to know what's causing this now... :( Has anyone else had this problem or is it something else going on with me? I need some advice please! Thanks Faye

Go to the drs get your bloods done you may have an underlying problem Also if your healthy and gain enough vitimins through food you may not need the full does of vitality

I find the way they handle compensation and business building SEVERELY lacking!!! When Presidential Diamonds (PD) are allowed to undermine "leaders" on their team by contacting "legs" and telling them to cancel their orders and the PD will send them any oils they need...

Excellent product, Great Service

I have been buying from doTERRA for years. My orders come rapidly. I have had very few errors, and when I have, doTERRA immediately fixed the issue and gave me free credits for the problem. I guess that is why its best to have a wholesale account with them directly. I tried buying some from Amazon, which is quick, but they were almost always the wrong thing. I placed 42 orders and 31 of them were wrong item. They were different versions than the description and picture on Amazon showed. Their website needs some work. It is hard to get to the join area to get the wholesale pricing when I went in to shop first.
